If your day in the office seems bland, then hold a meeting. If you’re not sure what to meet about, then make up something. Anything. And include a Powerpoint presentation filled with pie charts, graphs, and a detailed analysis on how to improve one’s golf handicap.

The other colleagues will think that you are a hard-working employee.

This is my last political cartoon of 2011.

And what a year it has been. A lot happened during 2011, from national revolts in Arab countries, to the deaths of Steve Jobs and Amy Winehouse and Gaddafi, to Juju being sacked, to me winning my first award.

I don’t know about you, but I am certainly exhausted.

Years ago, a friend and I joked about creating a mock-photographic studio for couples who are getting divorced. Wedding photography might be good business, but divorce photography makes it better. A third of all marriages end in divorce.

Do the maths.

The divorce album would be great, filled with photos of her throwing a steak knife at him; or pictures of him running off with a stripper; or pictures of her pointing a gun at him. The possibilities are endless.

It’s a gap in the market.
