Jerm South Africa's 39th best cartoonist

Hi, my name is Jerm.

I am South Africa’s 39th best cartoonist.

Since 2005 my work has featured in numerous newspapers, magazines, and websites across South Africa and other countries such as the United States, Britain, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Namibia, and India.

Some of my clients have included the Sunday Times, The Star, City Press, Rapport, Beeld, The Times, FHM, Playboy, Rolling Stone, Daily Maverick, The New Age, EWN, eNCA, Investec, Microsoft, Webber Wentzel, Standard Bank, and Afrihost.

In 2005 I left my corporate job in the city. Without any formal training I became a cartoonist and, thousands of cartoons later, haven’t looked back.

Well, except for when I swivel my chair around to admire the beautiful view of the ocean behind me!
